The Vineyard Theatre announces that INDECENT - a new play with music, written by Paula Vogel, created by Paula Vogel and Rebecca Taichman and directed by Rebecca Taichman - will extend its run at the Vineyard (108 E. 15 St.) through June 19.  The play opened on Tuesday, May 17 to uniformly positive/rave reviews.

The true story of a Yiddish play with a lesbian love scene was embraced in Europe, but censored in New York.

Known for both her contemporary and Shakespearean work, Taichman will go straight from one off-Bway show to another this year.

Kander and Ebb's Tony-nominated musical THE VISIT might have closed on Broadway earlier this summer, but according to leading lady Chita Rivera, the show will have another life overseas.             This Is Not A Theatre Company's Ferry Play invites audiences to participate in the site-specific, sensory experience of a smartphone play for the Staten Island Ferry. 

THE VISIT cast album, available now, is a joint release of two labels: Broadway Records and Yellow Sound Label, and is co-executive produced by Hunter Arnold, Carl Daikelerand Sandi Moran. Just last week, July 9, the company reunited at Barnes and Noble (150 East 86th Street) for a CD signing and performance. BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the special performance below!

Broadway Records releases THE VISIT Original Broadway Cast Recording digitally and in stores, including most major retailers, such as iTunes and Amazon, today, July 10.

The company of Broadway's The Visit gathered in the studio on April 27th to record the musical's original cast album. The Visit is the final musical ever written by legendary Oscar Award, Grammy Award and Tony Award-winning composer John Kander and his writing partner lyricist Fred Ebb, before Mr. Ebb passed away.
