NEW YORK FESTIVAL OF SONG has announced the lineup for its 2019-20 Season.

Award-winning, Brooklyn-based 'silly jazz' singer Camille Harris returns for her fourth release with a team of brilliant jazz players who are in perfect sync with her own blazing vocal and instrumental talents. Camille's wildly creative new album, Baby on the Subway, is set for release on September 13, 2019.

Tony Award-winning actress Laura Benanti took a quick hiatus from starring in My Fair Lady on Broadway to make her London debut - and those missing out on the former needn't have worried, as she opened with a bravura 15-minute precis of the production, complete with musical highlights.

OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES has garnered rave reviews across the country, and I can certainly understand why it's kosher for a Jew to be a ham after watching these five talented and energetic actor/comedians take over the stage. Sets of jokes are broken into categories, with the titles displayed on a large screen at the back of the stage, upon which we also see various settings where jokes are set. Starting with Birth and Childhood, they move through Dating and Courtship, Business and Money, Marriage, Religion, Assimilation, School., Doctors and Retirement, making fun of everyone while the audience roared with laughter.

The visiting production at the Colony is set to open on Thursday, April 25, at 8pm, and the engagement will continue through Sunday, June 16.

Returning for the second time this year, Opera on Tap brings its signature irreverent approach to opera to The Flea in its resident immersive cabaret series. In honor of the season, we are pleased to present Bucket o'Blood Cabaret. Committed to the tagline "No one gets in for free… but nobody gets out alive", the company promises to deliver an evening of blood-red cocktails paired with hair-raising operatic screams.

The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC) a production of The Present Company presents Stranger Than A Rhino, a contemporary reimagining of Ionesco's Rhinoceros with themes of race, culture and xenophobia, written by Robert Siegel.  William Roudebush directs a cast of eight, including Vick Krishna, Jeremy Lister, Barbara Matovu, Amanda McCallum, Leslie Lynn Meeker, Charles Rubey, David Shakopi and Scott Zimmerman. 

The words and music of acclaimed American musician, singer-songwriter satirist and Harvard mathematician Tom Lehrer is celebrated in TOMFOOLERY. The musical revue comes to Melbourne for a limited season as part of the Melbourne Fringe from 12 - 22 September 2018 at Gasworks, Albert Park.

Featuring an eclectic mix of sexy, DARK & DIRTY show tunes and comedy songs, Bucket List Cabaret, the brain-child of Theatre 40 member Amanda Conlon and her husband Peter Flanigan, invaded Three Clubs on July 19, 2018 with an explosively entertaining evening of musical fun that kept its audience laughing from start to finish. I am not exactly sure how Ms. Conlon found (or perhaps created) such an amazing mix of naughty tunes, I can say each one kept me laughing at the unexpected language and subject matter throughout the entire show.
