The full cast has been announced for the upcoming Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, starring Tony and Grammy-nominated multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812) and Tony Award winner Annaleigh Ashford (Sunday in the Park with George).

The Hudson Theatre was the place to be as stars of stage and screen came out to celebrate opening night of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman. This vibrant and timely production is directed by Miranda Cromwell, who co-directed the London production alongside Marianne Elliott. See photos from opening night!

Beginning Tuesday, April 5, Jewelle Blackman will summon spring eight times a week as Persephone in Hadestown at Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre.

Tony-nominee Amber Gray, who originated the role of Persephone in Hadestown, will return to the musical for Friday night's performance at the Walter Kerr Theatre.

Lana Gordon will play the role of Persephone in Hadestown, the winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, starting Tuesday, February 22 at Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre. Gordon previously starred on Broadway as Velma Kelly in Chicago and was an original cast member in The Lion King and is currently the Persephone alternate for Amber Gray, who originated the role, and as previously announced will play her final performance in Hadestown on Saturday evening, February 19.

Amber Gray, who originated the role of Persephone in Hadestown, the Tony Award®-winning Best New Musical, will play her final performance at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) on Saturday evening, February 19.

I recently sat down with Hadestown the Musical ensemble member, Will Mann, whom I have been a big fan of since his recent turn in the Broadway revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! Hadestown the Musical is not the first time he has been to Houston and we talked about coming to the Energy City and what it's like being on tour at the moment.

The Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Hadestown, was among the Broadway shows sidelined this evening. A representative for the production has confirmed that tomorrow's matinee has also been canceled. The status of the Saturday evening show is to be determined. 

In attendance were Lin-Manuel Miranda (Director/Producer), Andrew Garfield (Cast), Alexandra Shipp (Cast), Vanessa Hudgens (Cast), Robin de Jesús (Cast), Judith Light (cast), Joshua Henry (Cast), Ben Levi Ross (Cast), Steven Levenson (Writer/EP), Brian Grazer (Producer), and Julie Oh (Producer).

Tomorrow, original Broadway cast member Patrick Page will return to Hadestown, the 2019 Tony Award-winning Best New Musical. For his performance as Hades, king of the underworld, Page received a Grammy Award and Tony Award nomination.

Lana Gordon will be the alternate Persephone, allowing Amber Gray, who continues her award-winning run at the Walter Kerr Theatre, to spend more time with her young family. Gordon will join the cast the week beginning Monday, October 11 and will perform the role of Persephone twice a week.

The Broadway production of Hadestown will welcome back one of its original stars next month as Patrick Page returns to the role of Hades on Tuesday, November 9. 

Good Morning America's Times Square performance space went way down to Hadestown this morning when the reigning Tony Award-winning best musical stopped by to sing 'Way Down Hadestown' for the crowd outside!
