Casting has today been announced for a new play by award-winning playwright Chloë Moss. RUN SISTER RUN, a co-production between Paines Plough, Sheffield Theatres and Soho Theatre, explores the lives of two sisters and the different directions life takes them in as they desperately hold onto their unbreakable bond.

The distant sound of Atlantic Ocean waves receive you when you enter the theatre at the Kransberg Arts Center for Salt, Root, and Roe by Tim Price, which is currently making its US premier with Upstream Theater in partnership with Stages Repertory of Houston. When the lights dim, you'll be transported to a small village on the northern coast of modern-day Pembrokeshire, the most westerly part of Wales. An exterior beach in the foreground; an interior wood-planked room filled with packing boxes, small furnishings, and textiles just beyond that; and on the back wall, an illustrated representation of this place - Anest and Iola's seaside cottage - all aptly set the stage for what is to come.

This fall Washington Ensemble Theatre will stage Teh Internet Is Serious Business, the first of three plays in the company's 2017/18 season that will put toxic masculinity under a microscope. Teh Internet Is Serious Business is a captivating and irreverent tale about the hacktivist group Lulzsec, a byproduct of Anonymous, and its rise to global online power. Written by Welsh playwright Tim Price and directed by celebrated Seattle director Wayne Rawley (writer and director of the critically acclaimed Live! From the Last Night of My Life), performances begin on September 15 and run through October 2, 2017 at 12th Avenue Arts (1620 12th Avenue). Washington Ensemble Theatre has announced a striking three-play lineup for its 2017/18 season, which includes an irreverent tale about the hacktivist group Anonymous, a rolicking family drama about the demographic you love to hate, and a dark and stormy examination of the science fiction future of intimacy. The season, which marks The Ensemble's 14th year as a producing theatre company in Seattle, is themed 'No Surprise' and will look at toxic masculinity under a microscope.

Paines Plough, the UK's leading new writing company, is delighted to announce full cast and creative team for its Roundabout 2016 productions. Accomplished stage and screen actors Remy Beasley, Richard Corgan and Andy Rush will form an ensemble to perform the company's three new plays which will premiere from 5 to 28 August at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe before touring the UK.  The productions will be directed by Paines Plough's Joint Artistic Director, George Perrin with Sound Designer Dom Kennedyand Lighting Designer Prema Mehta completing the creative team.
