Redhouse will conclude its 2018 -19 Season with The All Night Strut!, conceived and originally directed and choreographed by Fran Charnas with musical arrangements by Tom Fitt, Gil Lieb and Dick Schermesser, running from May 30th - June 9th. The production will feature a partnership with CNY Jazz who will provide the musicians and musical direction along with Central New York Theater Icon, Bob Brown who will make his directorial debut with Redhouse. The All Night Strut! promises a high energy evening of memorable music and incredible singing and dancing that will have you tapping your toes long after you leave the theatre.

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) announces casting for the first production of the 2019 Nutmeg Summer Series: "Mamma Mia!," the Tony Award-nominated musical based on the songs of ABBA.  The cast includes Broadway actors Jessica Hendy (Broadway's "Cats," "Aida"), Jennifer Cody (Broadway's "Shrek", "Urinetown" & CRT's "Noises Off"), Lauren Blackman (Broadway's "Anastasia"),  and Bradley Dean (Braodway's "The Last Ship", "Dear Evan Hansen"). The Redhouse Arts Center in Syracuse, New York is now delighting audiences with their entertaining and engaging production of Herb Gardner's play I'm Not Rappaport. Impressively directed by Vincent J. Cardinal, the production marks the reunion of Fred Grandy and Ted Lange, castmates of the beloved television series The Love Boat.

Known for their roles in the 1970s sitcom "The Love Boat," Fred Grandy (Gopher) and Ted Lange (Isaac the Bartender) have reunited to star in Redhouse's production of "I'm Not Rappaport," which will run from March 14th - March 24th at its theater complex at City Center. I'm Not Rappaport is a Tony-Award winning play written by Herb Gardiner that revolves around a pair of octogenarians who spend their days on benches in Central Park, waging a private war with the environment, park degenerates and their rapidly deteriorating bodies. Despite the serious and occasionally eloquent subtext about society's treatment of the elderly, the emphasis is on the comic interplay between the actors. The show is sure to hit home with those who are are experiencing aging, or who have aging parents and family member as it deals with both the joys and pitfalls of aging and long time friendships, with humor and charm that is sure to evoke some tears but much laughter.

Glimmerglass Film Days will explore the theme “Passages” in Cooperstown November 8-12.  A program of Otsego 2000, Film Days features 32 films, 26 filmmakers and special guests, panels, receptions with local food and drink, a companion art exhibit, a pop-up bookstore, a free film for kids, and guided hikes.

For over 40 years, Andrew Lloyd Webber's iconic rock opera JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR has been thrilling audiences and sparking conversation and debate between theatergoers and fans alike. Over those 40 years different productions have put their own spin on the tale of the last days in the life of Jesus of Nazareth, told from the perspective of Judas Iscariot via a powerful rock score. From the original concept album and productions, to the film starring Ted Neely and Carl Anderson, and most recently with the NBC live production, this captivating story has shown a universal quality that continues to excite audiences as much today as when it premiered. Martin Turner and his band return to the concert stages in Autumn 2018 to perform another classic album from the vintage years of Wishbone Ash ? 1970's iconic Wishbone Ash debut album in its entirety. This follows on from sold-out tours in 2017 and the spring this year during which they performed the seminal 1972 album Argus and 1974's There's the Rub.

Swedish guitarist & vocalist Kee Marcello has announced a 6-date UK tour in October 2018. Marcello is best known for his years with multi-platinum selling bandEUROPE, whose mega-hit The Final Countdown went to number 1 in 25 countries.

Devotion, passion, and drive are just some of the words that come to mind when I think of The Redhouse, 'a nonprofit, multi-arts organization dedicated to the production and presentation of interdisciplinary works, theatre, music and visual art.' The Redhouse has become a large part of the theatre scene within the Central New York area and it now has a new location at Syracuse, NY's City Center, just a few blocks away from its starter home. The Redhouse may have moved on to a larger venue with three performing spaces, but the heart is still very much there. What better way to open a new space than with the touching, entertaining, and heartwarming production of Ernest Thompson's On Golden Pond, brilliantly directed by Vincent J. Cardinal.
