Nature's Three-Part Series ANIMAL HOMES Begins 4/8

Animals, like humans, need a place they can call home to provide a safe and stable place to raise a family, but they go about building it in entirely different ways. Whether it is a bird's nest, bear den, beaver lodge or spider web, these are homes of great complexity, constructed from a wide range of natural as well as man-made materials.

CATS is Officially Aiming for Broadway Return in 2016; Fall or Spring?

The return to London of CATS has been considered a big hit, with the show extending multiple times, and already planning a limited run return for next year. Currently starring in the UK production is Kerry Ellis, through the end of April. Now it sounds like we'll be seeing the Jellicle Ball back on Broadway next year!

MIGHTY REAL: A FABULOUS SYLVESTER MUSICAL Heads to Philadelphia This Weekend

MIGHTY REAL: A FABULOUS SYLVESTER MUSICAL, the hit musical celebration of the life and music of the original 1970s 'Queen of Disco,' Sylvester, will come to Philadelphia for one weekend only, performing at the Painted Bride Art Center (230 Vine Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106) for five shows only: tonight, April 3rd, 2015 @ 8pm; Saturday, April 4th, 2015 @ 2pm & 8pm; and Sunday, April 5th, 2015 @ 3pm & 7:30pm.

CBS Sports to Air Masters for 60th Straight Year, 4/9-12

The Masters, the most renowned tournament in golf, will be broadcast on CBS for the 60th consecutive year from the majestic setting of Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga. This year marks the 79th Masters Tournament, one of the most highly anticipated sporting events of the year. Last year, Bubba Watson won his second Masters in three years.

David Mamet's CHINA DOLL, Starring Al Pacino, Will Open at Schoenfeld Theatre in November; Fran Kranz Joins Cast

Producers Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel, and Steve Traxler just announced that AL PACINOwill return to Broadway in the world premiere of CHINA DOLL, a new play by DAVID MAMET. It will begin previews on October 20, 2015, with an official opening on November 19, 2015, at The Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). The play will also feature FRAN KRANZ (You Can't Take It With You, Death of a Salesman, “Dollhouse”). Tony Award-winner PAM MACKINNON (The Heidi Chronicles, Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance, Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?) will direct. The creative team will include scenic design by Tony Award-winner Derek McLane (Gigi, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, 33 Variations), lighting design by Russell H. Champa (In the Next Room (or the vibrator play)), and costume design by Tony Award-winner Jess Goldstein (Jersey Boys, Proof, The Rivals). Joining Pacino in the play will be Fran Kranz, who most recently starred on Broadway in You Can't Take It With You, as the assistant to Pacino.

NNPN to Present Rolling World Premieres for Beckim's LIGHTS RISE ON GRACE and Yee's IN A WORD in 2015

The NATIONAL NEW PLAY NETWORK (NNPN), the country's alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces its 48th and 49th Rolling World Premieres: Chad Beckim's Lights Rise on Grace and Lauren Yee's in a word, as well as openings for its 43rd, 44th, and 47th plays, Uncanny Valley by Thomas Gibbons, Colossal by Andrew Hinderaker, and River City by Diana Grisanti.

Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre to Stage PETER PAN in May

It's the beloved story by Sir James M. Barrie that has enchanted generations. Peter Pan, the tale about the adventures of a boy who would not grow up, soars into Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre on May 14 as the 2015 Season Family Show.

Golf Channel Sets LIVE FROM THE MASTERS Coverage

Masters Week begins on Sunday, April 5, with live coverage of the 2015 Drive, Chip & Putt Championship National Finals followed on Monday with the start of the network's Golf Central Live From the Masterssignature coverage. This year, Golf Channel will offer more than 80 total hours of live news and themed Masters programming from Augusta National Golf Club and Golf Channel's World Headquarters in Orlando. The week will be capped on Monday, April 13, with the premiere of Ben Crenshaw: A Walk Through Augusta, the latest production by Emmy-nominated Golf Channel Films, which debuted the award-winningArnie after last year's Masters.

Unify Fashion Show Set for 4/30

The Unify Fashion Show, presented by Robert Charles Photography of East Longmeadow, will be held on Thursday, April 30 at the Log Cabin in Holyoke. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; the fashion show begins at 7:30 p.m.

The Rolling Stones to Play Comerica Park, 7/8

Ladies and gentlemen...The Rolling Stones are back! The band has announced that they will kick off their new 15-city North American stadium, ZIP CODE tour, in San Diego on May 24 at Petco Park. The band will visit Comerica Park in Detroit on Wednesday, July 8 at 8 p.m. The tour will make stops in Columbus, Minneapolis, Dallas, Atlanta, Orlando, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Kansas City, Raleigh, Indianapolis and Buffalo before wrapping in Quebec on July 15 at Le Festival D'Eté de Québec.
