Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre to Stage PETER PAN in May

It's the beloved story by Sir James M. Barrie that has enchanted generations. Peter Pan, the tale about the adventures of a boy who would not grow up, soars into Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre on May 14 as the 2015 Season Family Show.

Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick Tinkerbell visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night and, with a sprinkle of pixie dust, begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them will ever forget. In the adventure of a lifetime the travelers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, an Indian tribe, a band of bungling pirates, and of course the villainous Captain Hook.

This high-flying Tony Award-winning musical features the iconic songs "I'm Flying, "I've Gotta Crow," "Never Never Land" and "I Won't Grow Up."

This production sees the return of Jeff Stockberger in one of his most animated and unforgettable roles: Captain Hook. Newcomer Phebe Taylor stars in the title role, while Kennedy Martin (most recently seen as Fern in Beef & Boards' productio of Charlotte's Web), plays Wendy Darling. The Darling boys are played by Ethen Gold (as John) and Holland Barnes (as Michael), Darrin Murrell plays the pirate Mr. Smee and Sally Scharbrough is Tiger Lilly.

Peter Pan is on stage for 58 performances through July 3 in the intimate space of Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre. Tickets range from $40 to $65 and include Chef Odell Ward's family-friendly dinner buffet, prepared in-house for each performance, and select beverages. Parking is always free.

As Beef & Boards' 2015 Family Show, tickets for all children ages 3-15 receive a $10 discount off the regular ticket price.
