Lyric has announced full casting for its production of 42nd Street, to be presented May 29 - June 21, 2020, at the Lyric Opera House, 20 N. Wacker Drive, Chicago. Previously announced Broadway stars Norm Lewis (Julian Marsh) and Faith Prince (Dorothy Brock) are joined by Isabelle McCalla (Peggy Sawyer), who recently starred in Broadway's The Prom and Aladdin, and Ashley Day (Billy Lawlor), who reprises his role from the West End revival of 42nd Street.

The Wick Theatre In Boca Raton is one of the newest and most glamorous. I was recently there for the dress rehearsal of the season opener Hot Shoe Shuffle. The Wick audience is in for a fabulous evening of song and dance with an unbelievable display of talent on it's stage. Bravo to Producer Marilyn Wick, Director Jonathan Van Dyke, Choreographer Justin M. Lewis, Jason Tucker musical director and a very talented cast. The show runs October 17- November 10. Are you ready to 'cut a rug'? The Wick Theatre opens their seventh season with the Australian and West End smash hit, Hot Shoe Shuffle. This award-winning production features a cast of dynamic dancers tapping and singing their way through the biggest hits from the American Big Band era performed by a 10-piece live band.
The current production of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas now performing at The Merry - Go - Round Playhouse in Auburn, New York brings comedy, dancing, a lot of attitude, and very little clothing. Director and choreographer Parker Esse brings a rowdy, toe-tapping, and carefree good time with his high energy cast.

The classic musical On The Town is probably the perfect theatrical offering - thanks to Bellport's Gateway Playhouse- during the 4th Of July festivities. Instead of an overture, the band plays the Star Spangled Banner and the story follows three sailors from the US Navy on a one day shore leave. We follow the sailors as they quickly meet three women who show them around New York City on their day off.

Sunday night, Westchester Broadway Theatre was proud to welcome a group of soldiers of the Marine unit stationed at Stewart Air Base in Newburgh NY and their Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Ian Wallace and Mrs. Wallace. The 27 Marines enjoyed an evening of fine dining and entertainment. Irving Berlin's White Christmas was a wonderful show for ushering in the Holiday Season.
