A&A Ballet Announces Auditions for THE ART DECO NUTCRACKER

A&A BALLET (A&A), under the artistic direction of Alexei Kremnev and Anna Reznik, has announced that it will host auditions for its fourth annual performance of 'The Art Deco Nutcracker' September 12 at A&A Ballet's new state-of-the-art studios in the South Loop (731 S Plymouth Court).

Alliance Theatre to Present Atlanta Premiere of A KIDS PLAY ABOUT RACISM

Alliance Theatre joins groundbreaking collaboration among 37 Theatres for Young Audiences across the United States, led by the lead producing team of Bay Area Children's Theatre, Seattle Children's Theatre, and Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, will present  the virtual premiere of A Kids Play About Racism, a theatrical adaptation of Jelani Memory's A Kids Book About Racism. Premiering August 1 and 2 on the streaming platform Broadway On Demand, the new work is adapted and directed by award-winning director and TYA artist Khalia Davis and will be brought to life by an entirely Black and BIPOC cast and creative team from across the United States.

The Breath Project Announces Submissions for 8 Minute And 46 Second Performances By Artists Of Color

The Breath Project, in partnership with theater companies across the country, was formed to select, curate and archive work from multidisciplinary theater artists of color who are responding to our current moment in history, and to build relationships between artists of color and producers of live theater in their region. All submissions to the archive must be a recording of a live performance of original work, created by an artist of color, and must be 8 minutes and 46 seconds in length.
