Theresa Rebeck's (Bad Dates, Dragon 2011) dark comedy examines the conflict between Main Street and Wall Street, flyover state values versus coastal state values, and the humor within a family in turmoil.
The Kenyon Institute Announces Summer 2017 Program Lineup

The Kenyon Institute, a series of summer writing workshops and intellectual experiences for adults, offered on one of the world's most beautiful college campuses, announced today its lineup of programs for the 2017 season. During the months of June and July 2017, top industry professionals - including award-winning playwrights, recognized authors and journalists, published scientists, and respected scholars - will meet on the campus of Kenyon College to instruct and work with the adult students enrolled in each of the four Kenyon Institute programs. Registration began October 15, 2016.
Ogunquit Playhouse to Launch New Works Series with FRIDA Reading in NYC

The Ogunquit Playhouse has announced the launch of a new works program to incubate and develop new musicals for the stage. The program is helmed by Matt Schicker and will kick off on Monday, December 5 at 3:30PM at Pearl Studios in New York, NY, with an invite-only Actors' Equity Association stage reading of Frida, a musical with book and lyrics by Michael Aman and music by Dana P. Rowe.
Fred Ebb Foundation Donates Over $1.6 Million to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids

The Fred Ebb Foundation has announced that its 2016 donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS will total $1.675 million dollars, bringing the foundation's total contribution to BC/EFA to $13.325 million since it began 12 years ago. The foundation, which is funded by royalties from the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb's vast catalogue of work, makes an annual donation to BC/EFA.

The Fred Ebb Foundation (Mitchell S. Bernard, Trustee) in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) will present the twelfth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Thomas Mizer and Curtis Moore, tonight from 6-8pm at a by-invitation-only ceremony in the Penthouse Lounge of The American Airlines Theater. The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, will be presented by Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley.
