The staged musical of this worldwide smash-hit film will go on to play over 30 markets in North America including Minneapolis, Atlanta, Houston, New Orleans, Seattle, Costa Mesa and more. The Road Company Theater's popular, sold-out 2013 summer camp at the Grand Theatre will culminate in fully staged productions of Disney's Aladdin, Jr. and Legally Blonde: The Musical in August. "While there are other summer camps for parents to choose from for their children, many favor ours because of its affordability and the intensive six-week program dedicated to training in auditioning, stage presence, voice, dance, and the technical aspects of live theater, in addition to rehearsing and performing shows," stated Lauri Hudson, Road Company president. Jennifer Gerhart, mother of Stevie Rose and Sofia, said: "I couldn't imagine either of my girls at any other camp or with any other instructors. I doubt it would be the same experience." Disney's Aladdin, Jr. will be performed by those ages 8 through 11 on Thursday, August 1, Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 3 at 7:30 pm. The producers of the audience and critics' favorite Peter and the Starcatcher announced today that Steve Rosen, who stepped in to play the role of Black Stache for certain performances during the show's Off-Broadway run at NYTW, will again step into the show, this time to take over the role of Smee, on Monday, July 8. Kevin Del Aguila will play his last performance on Sunday, July 7, before joining the cast of Love's Labours Lost at The Public Theater. Del Aguila returns to Peter and the Starcatcher onAugust 26.
