Special Offer - Extended! CULLUD WATTAH Now Plays Through Dec 12

Producer Jeffrey Seller and the Providence Performing Arts Center announced a digital lottery for HAMILTON tickets will begin in conjunction with the show’s first performance on Tuesday, November 30 in Providence at PPAC.

Written by Erika Dickerson-Despenza and directed by Candis C. Jones, Cullud Wattah follows three generations of Black women living through the Flint Water Crisis. The world premiere began preview performances in The Public's Martinson Hall on Tuesday, November 2 and officially opened on Wednesday, November 17.

The season continues on December 13th with Village Wooing, George Bernard Shaw's sparkling short romantic comedy. Village Wooing is the perfect antidote to the holiday blues. Celebrate Gingold's return to live in-person performances at Symphony Space with two beloved, multiple award-winning, Broadway stars, Maryann Plunkett and Jay O. Sanders.

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis has announced Danny Williams as its new Managing Director, effective January 10, 2022. He will replace Mark Bernstein, who is retiring after serving more than 34 years in the position. Williams comes to The Rep from New York, where he most recently served as Senior Director, Finance and Administration for The Public Theater.

The Public Theater announced casting today for the World Premiere of SUFFS, a new musical with book, music, and lyrics by Public Theater Artist-in-Residence Shaina Taub, choreography by Obie Award winner Raja Feather Kelly, and direction by Tony Award nominee Leigh Silverman.

Soho Rep has added two weeks of performances to the world premiere of while you were partying, created by Peter Mills Weiss and Julia Mounsey with Brian Fiddyment, which opened Wednesday night (November 10). The show, which is Soho Rep’s first full production since before the COVID-19 shutdown, will now run through December 12.

The Public Theater announced a one-week extension of the world premiere play CULLUD WATTAH through Sunday, December 12. Written by Susan Smith Blackburn Prize winner Erika Dickerson-Despenza and directed by Lilly Award winner Candis C. Jones, CULLUD WATTAH follows three generations of Black women living through the Flint Water Crisis.

The fully reimagined production, directed and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Camille A. Brown begins performances at Broadway’s Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street), home to the original 1976 production, on Friday, March 4, 2022, with the opening night set for Thursday, March 24th, 2022.

The Huntington announces the New England premiere of Teenage Dick by Mike Lew, a darkly comic re-telling of Shakespeare's Richard III set in the most treacherous of places -high school. The production runs from December 3, 2021 to January 2, 2022 at The Huntington's Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA, and with digital access to the filmed performance through January 16, 2022.
