The Madison Square Garden Company (NYSE: MSG) announced today that legendary New Yorker and comedian Jerry Seinfeld has added 16 final performances to his Beacon Theatre residency – extending the run through its conclusion in March 2020.
The Madison Square Garden Company and Live Nation announced today that How Did This Get Made? Live will take the Beacon Theatre stage on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 7:30PM. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 7 at 10:00AM.
The Madison Square Garden Company (NYSE: MSG) celebrates Jerry Seinfeld's 50th show in his residency at the Beacon Theatre with tomorrow's 9:30pm performance. Seinfeld began this overwhelmingly successful residency in 2016, and continued it throughout 2017 before resuming in January 2019. Seinfeld currently holds the record for the most comedy shows at The Beacon, and is catching up to the total performance numbers of other legendary Beacon Theatre mainstays, including Allman Brothers Band and Steely Dan, who have 238 and 60 performances, respectively. Additional performances as part of the Seinfeld residency have been announced through November 2019.
The Garden of Dreams Foundation announced today that the 2019 Garden of Laughs event, presented by Delta Air Lines, once again raised more than $2 million for the Foundation to aid its efforts to make dreams come true for tri-state area children in need. Since its inception in 2013, the biennial Garden of Laughs comedy benefit has raised $7 million in total for the charity. In addition to a sold-out evening of comedy at Garden of Laughs, the Foundation also launched an exclusive online auction through Charitybuzz, where you can continue to support the Garden of Dreams Foundation by bidding on unforgettable packages and experiences, including meet-and-greets and tickets to sporting and entertainment events. With the newly transformed tour, guests will have access to a variety of brand-new interactive features, including a state-of-the-art virtual reality experience that takes them through the transition of The Garden from a basketball court to a hockey rink to a concert setup.
