Richmond County Orchestra (RCO) is celebrating Motown music with a Side-By-Side production with Curtis High School band members on Sunday, April 22 at 3 p.m. at the Music Hall at Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden.

AEG Presents announced this morning the full 2018 lineup for its 60th Summer Concert Series at The Mountain Winery. This year's shows will run from May 27 through September 30 and include legendary performers and top-notch talent across many genres in music and comedy. Returning icons gracing The Mountain Winery's legendary summer stage include Willie Nelson with Alison Krauss, Tony Bennett, Pretenders, Alanis Morissette, The Original Wailers, Los Lobos, Norah Jones, Lyle Lovett and The Roots. New performers include Roger Daltrey, O.A.R., The Rascals and the comedy duo #IMOMSOHARD.

The hit West End production of Motown the Musical recently welcomed its new cast to the Shaftesbury Theatre, where the show celebrated its second birthday last month.

Motown the Musical will embark on a major UK and Ireland tour in 2018-2019 arriving at The Bristol Hippodrome for a 4-week a four week  run from Thursday 10 January - Saturday 2 February 2019. Further dates and casting to be announced soon.

The 2018 SaraSolo Festival, the fourth celebration of theatre and solo artists, was held January 27-February 4, 2018. This annual theater festival features an eclectic mix of 45-90-minute solo performances by national and international artists - featuring music, dance, cabaret, comedy, magic, poetry, performance art, stand-up, storytelling and visual art creation as well as biographical, autobiographical and poetic plays.

The minute the curtain was raised and a familiar tune of the Four Tops reached my ears, I knew that both the audience and I were going to be dancing in our seats all night. Throughout the evening, the audience was serenaded with many hits such as the sweet sound of The Temptations singing 'My Girl' and the classic song 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours' by the incredible Stevie Wonder. There was not one moment in the show that I did not absolutely adore.

This February, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

'Motown: The Musical' is, plain and simply, Berry Gordy's revenge on 'Dreamgirls.' After getting displayed in a negative fashion in that show, Gordy decided to create his own version of his career, painting himself in noble colors.

Motown the Musical will embark on a major UK and Ireland tour opening at the Birmingham New Alexandra Theatre on 11 October 2018 where it will play until 3 November 2018 before visiting Leeds Grand Theatre (6 17 November 2018), Edinburgh Playhouse (20 November 8 December 2018), Bristol Hippodrome (10 January 2 February 2019), Bord Gais Energy Theatre Dublin (5 - 23 February 2019), Manchester Opera House (26 February 23 March 2019) and Wales Millennium Centre Cardiff (26-March - 6 April 2019). Arrangements of the music of Tadd Dameron, Louis Armstrong, Clifford Brown, original compositions, and more. Leo Maxey is a Baltimore area jazz trumpeter. Reared in Augusta, GA, he began his musical studies under the tutelage of his father Leonard Maxey, Sr. and Darian Washington and studied with the likes of local greats John Bradley, Michael Katterjohn, and Todd Jenkins. He holds tenure with the BCJO and has performed with artist to include the David Murray Baltimore Big Band, Frankie Ruiz, Todd Marcus Jazz Orchestra, the Whitt Williams Big Band, The Four Tops, The Impressions, the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, and others. He studied with Alex Norris, Tim Murphy, Gary Thomas, Michael Formanek, Paul Bollenback, Russell Thomas, Robert Blaine, and Darcie Bishop.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW , Broadway's Supper Club, presents vocalist Danielle Hecht in her solo debut performance in collaboration with Saxophonist and Musical Director, Greg Blair . Their nine piece ensemble , complete with a horn section and strings, will reimagine songs by contemporary artists including Erykah Badu, Lady Gaga, Beyonce and more thru contemporary-pop instrumentations. Expect the unexpected with musical stylings ranging from instrumental pop to heavy funk, lush ballads, gritty jazz...and everything in between.

The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica and Eva Price present Small Mouth Sounds by Drama Desk Award winner Bess Wohl (Pretty Filthy), and directed by Tony Award nominee Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812) for three weeks only, January 11 through 28 with a press opening on January 12.
