Peggy Lee's 'Is That All There Is?' Celebrates 50th Anniversary

In conjunction with the Peggy Lee Estate, Capitol/UMe will release Is That All There Is? 50th anniversary digital-only edition on November 15. The remastered edition features three previously unreleased tracks: a remixed version and alternate take of the title track, and an alternate version of “Me and My Shadow.”  A full track list is below.

Rubicon Theatre Company presents an updated limited-engagement encore run of last year's World Premiere of I DIG ROCK AND ROLL MUSIC directed by James O'Neil. This year's production features an all new cast starring Yvette Cason, Harley Jay, Beau Moore, Charlotte Morris and Scott Anthony. I Dig Rock and Roll Music begins previews on September 11, will have its press opening on Saturday September 14 at 7 p.m., and performances will continue September 15 through September 29 at Rubicon Theatre, 1006 E. Main Street in Ventura's Downtown Cultural District.

Lillias White Departs I DIG ROCK AND ROLL MUSIC; Yvette Cason Joins The Cast

Due to scheduling issues, Lillias White will no longer be able to perform in I DIG ROCK AND ROLL MUSIC for this limited run at the Rubicon Theatre; and Yvette Cason (Broadway credits include Play On!, for which she also won an Ovation Award and Dreamgirls. Her regional credits include Blues in the Night at the Wallis and Shout Sister Shout at the Pasadena Playhouse), will now perform with the production through closing.

With the not so faint wisps of fascism blowing all around the world today, artists seem compelled to paint the future.  Prasad Paul Duffy has written and directed Revolutionary with Theo Grace composing the score and lyrics.  This show has been selected as part of Theater for the New City's Dream Up Festival.  Pursuing new works presented in non-traditional ways, the festival aims to push ideas forward and encourage experimentation.

CBS All Access subscribers can enter the fifth dimension beginning Monday, April 1 with the premiere of the service's latest original series, THE TWILIGHT ZONE. The series will debut with two episodes. Following the series premiere, new episodes of the anthology series will be available on demand weekly on Thursdays beginning April 11, exclusively for CBS All Access subscribers. The announcement was made by Julie McNamara, Executive Vice President of Original Content for CBS All Access, at CBS' biannual Television Critics Association presentation.

DeWanda Wise and Jessica Williams have entered the fifth dimension. Wise and Williams are the latest to star in an upcoming episode of CBS All Access original series THE TWILIGHT ZONE. The episode will also feature Lucinda Dryzek, Jefferson White and Jonathan Whitesell. Previously announced cast includes host and narrator Jordan Peele, as well as John Cho, Greg Kinnear, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani, Adam Scott, Alison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay and Steven Yeun.

Adam Scott is the latest cast member to enter the fifth dimension, joining the CBS All Access original series THE TWILIGHT ZONE. Scott will star in the episode 'Nightmare at 30,000 Feet.' CBS All Access previously announced that Jordan Peele will host and narrate the series and actress Sanaa Lathan will star in the episode 'Rewind.'

Hair is a great big hit on the symbolic and mostly imaginary bong that is theater in Music City - or anywhere else artists come together to share the largesse of their own indomitable spirits. The resulting production will leave you inspired, maybe even more readily equipped with the realities of life in the 21st century, which proves that no matter how much times have changed, they remain stultifyingly the same. While our prejudices and biases may have been altered by the social upheaval of the 1960s and the decades that followed, introspection reveals that we only have refocused our baser instincts on issues of equal significance.
