XL Nightclub presents its new weekly show 'Broadway Call' with nightlife host Marti Gould Cummings tonight, August 13th. The show will begin with an old fashioned-musical theatre sing along and happy hour at 7pm followed by live performances by Cummings and a new weekly guest at 9pm. The concert is a free event. The Monday, August 13th performance of Broadway Call will feature Leap of Faith, Hair, and Rent star Krystal Brown.

Hairspray: In Concert! will premiere with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Jan. 11-13, 2013, and with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Jan. 24-27, 2013.

New York's City Center can be a dark and unwelcoming place on a Friday afternoon. The recently restored interior is obscured by shadows and the only light comes from the merciless worklights over the stage which only partially illuminate the two performers beneath them. Yet, even through these shadows, the admirable skills of two Broadway veterans are evident as they recreate their roles in WEST SIDE STORY. Both actors appeared in this musical classic over forty years ago at Lincoln Center.
