The new Park Theatre will present its first stage play production, First Night, on December 28 and 29 at 7:30pm each night in the 333-seat Eppes Auditorium.

With great sadness, we announce the loss of Edward Allan Baker, beloved father, grandfather, brother, husband, playwright, teacher, colleague, and friend.  Ed Baker passed away on Saturday evening, November 20th 2021, surrounded by love from friends and family, at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport,  CT. 

Willard Manus' adaptation of A JOURNAL OF THE PLAGUE YEAR, by Daniel ('Robinson Crusoe') Defoe, will be performed by Write Act Rep from Nov. 13th - Dec. 19th, 2021 at the Brickhouse Theatre in North Hollywood. Produced by Write Act's artistic director John Lant and by Anne Mesa, the play is directed by Daniel E. Keough.

The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Center recently presented the first concert in its VOICE STARS series. This concert featured the 15 contestants who are disabled of different categories from Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei,  battling for the first time.

VOICE STARS is the first online reality show and international singing competition for the disabled, lead by a team of blind youths, organised by the Youth Development Committee of the Society of the Blind in Malaysia (YDCSBM), supported by The Actors Studio & The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac) and Leo Club of Kuala Lumpur Central.

Life Sdn Bhd has been touching many of us in many ways, since the beginning of this series which began in 2004. We began with What It Means to be Malaysian, for 3 years, performed by actors and non-actors. Patrick Teoh then quipped…Aiya Faridah, after 3 years cukuplah, what else is there to say…
