First Rastafari Church and Cultural Center Of Florida Hosts Community Event

The First Rastafari Church and Cultural Center of Florida(FRCCC) are positioned to provide a new vibrant, creative cultural community narrative that is being added to the South Florida landscape. The First Rastafari Church & Cultural Center of Florida(FRCCC) will host the opening of their location today, June 16, 2018, from 1pm-7pm. This mini-festival is a family inspired event and will take place at 16280 NW 27th Avenue, Miami Gardens, Florida 33054. The event is free and open to the public. The MC for the day is Empress Yvette Marshall, radio personality at WAVS Radio. The FRCCC is a space where people can thrive in the center's open, collaborative and accessible area.

Cal Shakes Announces New Classics Initiative

California Shakespeare Theater (Cal Shakes) today announced the launch of the New Classics Initiative (NCI), and the support of The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation with a $300,000 three-year grant. NCI has also garnered support from the Walter & Elise Haas Fund and the MCJ Amelior Foundation.

PENN & TELLER: FOOL US is a one-hour competition series celebrating magic and featuring the legendary duo Penn & Teller. On each episode of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US, aspiring magicians are invited to perform their best trick to try and fool the world-famous team of Penn & Teller. Anyone who succeeds wins the right to perform with Penn & Teller in their celebrated show at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The live studio audience and the TV audience watch along with Penn & Teller as they try to figure out the secrets. Penn & Teller see the trick only once and have to immediately try to work it out. The live studio audience knows there are no camera tricks, secret edits or helpful camera cuts. This is all real magic. British television and radio personality Jonathan Ross serves as host.

Lady K-Fever Highlights LEAP's Bronx Student Exhibition At Claremont Park June 19

Popular New York street artist Lady K-Fever will join more than 100 NYC public school students in the Bronx portion of what is one of the largest public displays of student art in New York City. LEAP's Rising Voices: Bronx Student Public Art Exhibition will be held Tuesday, June 19, at Claremont Park, 3:30 pm to 5 pm. The event location is in the northern end of Claremont Park, just south of the park house and gazebo. Students from six Bronx classes in three schools will display ordinary cafeteria tables turned into social justice murals advocating for issues of concern to the students.

YouTube Orders New Series on Artificial Intelligence from Robert Downey, Jr.

YouTube announced its order for an expansive new series on artificial intelligence that will be executive produced by Team Downey partners Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey, Network Entertainment's Derik Murray and Paul Gertz, and Sonar Entertainment's Jenna Santoianni and Tom Lesinski. The series will feature some of the brightest minds in science, philosophy, technology, engineering, medicine, futurism, entertainment and the arts to tell the dynamic story of A.I. The 8-episode hour-long series will debut exclusively on YouTube Red in 2019.
