This announcement comes on the heels of several recent successes, including the theatre's 18 Perry Award Nominations, as well as news of a major funding package from the Rural Development office of the United States Department of Agriculture.

The classic American drama One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest continues its run at Eagle Theatre, located at 208 Vine Street in Hammonton, NJ, from June 21 to June 30. The play, adapted by Dale Wasserman from the 1962 Ken Kesey novel, tells the riveting story of Randle McMurphy, who cons his way into a mental institution to avoid prison time, and proceeds to engage in a vicious clash of will with the domineering Nurse Ratched.

Jonathon Larson's RENT, winner of four Tony Awards, tells the story of the day-to-day lives of characters struggling to make the most of the time they have, and also compassionately highlights the issues facing LGBT individuals, especially those battling AIDS. Appropriately, a portion of the proceeds from RENT will benefit the South Jersey AIDS Alliance, South Jersey's leader in the fight against AIDS.
