The Eagle Theatre, located at 208 Vine Street in Hammonton, NJ, has released details of its 2013 season. This announcement comes on the heels of several recent successes, including the theatre's 18 Perry Award Nominations, as well as news of a major funding package from the Rural Development office of the United States Department of Agriculture.

In the coming season, the Eagle Theatre will expand its programming, increasing the number of main stage productions to seven, and lengthening each run to four weeks per production. The season will open with the quintessential Broadway musical A Chorus Line, followed by The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), HAIR, Urinetown, Smokey's Joe's Café, Lombardi, and Little Shop of Horrors.

The 2013 season contains a diverse selection of musicals and plays, with some, such as A Chorus Line, being immediately recognizable, while others, such as Lombardi (a play about the inspirational football great), being lesser known. Throughout the season, patrons can look forward to professionally rendered productions in one of the region's most intimate performing arts venues. Additionally, the upcoming season represents an ambitious progression for the Eagle Theatre, which reopened its doors only in June of 2009, and is already noted throughout the region for the quality of its performances.
Season Passes are available at this time. For more information, please contact the box office at (609) 704-5012.
Meanwhile, the Eagle Theatre still has several productions left in 2012, including Completely Hollywood (Abridged), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and a special live production of The Rocky Horror Show.
Completely Hollywood (Abridged), directed by Ted Wioncek III, will run at 8pm on September 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, and 22, and 3pm on September 9 and 16 at the Eagle Theatre. For tickets and information, please visit TheEagleTheatre.com, or call the box office at (609) 704-5012.
