It was announced today that the up-and-coming actress (and Critics' Choice winner) has landed an arc on the upcoming sixth season of NBC's hit comedy PARKS AND RECREATION. Though exact details on her role are being kept under wraps, it was confirmed that Maslany will play a new love interest for Tom (Aziz Ansari.)

The Television Critics Association (TCA) last night, August 3rd, recognized the top programs and actors of the 2012-2013 television season at its 29th Annual TCA Awards presentation. Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, stars of Comedy Central's hit series “Key & Peele,” hosted the annual invitation-only event, held at the Beverly Hilton hotel in conjunction with the TCA's summer press tour. This year's honorees include: Lucy Hale ('Pretty Little Liars'), Kit Harington ('Game of Thrones'), Liam James ('The Way, Way Back'), Tatiana Maslany ('Orphan Black'), Kelly Osbourne ('Fashion Police') and AnnaSophia Robb ('The Carrie Diaries').

HBO leads the networks in nominations with 21, followed closely by FX which collected 19. Topping the list of nominated series are American Horror Story: Asylum (FX) and The Big Bang Theory (CBS) with six nominations each. Other series with multiple nominations include Parks and Recreation (NBC) and Top Of The Lake (Sundance) with five each and The Americans (FX), Breaking Bad (AMC), Game of Thrones (HBO), The Good Wife (CBS), Louie (FX), New Girl (FOX) andPolitical Animals (USA) with four each.

BBC AMERICA has renewed highly acclaimed original series, Orphan Black, for a second season to return as part of Supernatural Saturday in 2014. The conspiracy clone thriller starring Tatiana Maslany has been re-commissioned with a 10-episode order from Temple Street Productions, ahead of its season one finale on Saturday, June 1.

Start of production on BBC AMERICA's new original series ORPHAN BLACK was announced today.

BBC AMERICA has renewed its first original scripted series, COPPER, for a second season, ahead of the season one finale this Sunday, October 21 at 10:00pm ET. The channel has re-commissioned the drama with an increased order of 13 episodes from Cineflix Studios.

Toronto International Film Festival®(TIFF) breakout talent, Tatiana Maslany (Picture Day, The Vow), has been cast to star in the new original series Orphan Black, produced by Temple Street Productions for BBC AMERICA and Canadian cable channel, SPACE. The announcement was made as Maslany was feted for her starring role in the feature Picture Day, which made its world premiere at this year's festival. The Genie and Gemini-nominated actor, who received the 2010 Sundance special jury prize for Grown Up Movie Star, is capturing the increasing attention of fans and industry elite alike - including recent critical acclaim from The Globe and Mail, Toronto Sun, and NOW Magazine. Set to begin production in Toronto this October, additional casting for the 10 episode series will be announced soon.
