Sandra J. Miklave- Executive Director of the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra and worked with Kristin Huffman (Artistic Dir of New Paradigm Theatre) to produce last year's award winning West Side Story. Sandra joined the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra staff in April 2018. She is a leader in the Norwalk community. Sandra was vice president and co-manager of the Loan and Agency Services Group responsible for the bank's syndicated loan portfolio. She earned her B.A. in political science and economics at Manhattanville College and her Master of Organizational Leadership at Quinnipiac University. Sandra lives in Norwalk with her husband, Matt and has three sons.
La Jolla Playhouse has announced the final two productions for its 2020/2021 season: the world premieres of to the yellow house, by Kimber Lee (tokyo fish story), directed by former Playhouse Associate Artistic Director Neel Keller (School for Wives, Light Up the Sky), running July 14 - August 9; and Guilty Pleasure, by Paul Rudnick (Jeffrey; screenplays for Sister Act, In & Out), directed by Christopher Ashley (Come From Away, Diana), the Rich Family Artistic Director of La Jolla Playhouse. Studio Theatre and Artistic Director David Muse have announced that Reginald L. Douglas will join the organization as its new Associate Artistic Director later this month. Douglas comes to Studio from City Theatre Company in Pittsburgh, where he has served as Artistic Producer since 2015.
LAB RESULTS: The Antaeus Playwrights Lab Festival a?" Six new plays by award-winning, mid-career writers get developmental readings over the course of two weekends as part of Antaeus Theatre Company's second annual LAB RESULTS series. Each of the plays was developed in the Antaeus Playwrights Lab, an ongoing program that incubates new works that provide compelling roles for actors and creates a nurturing and supportive artistic community. Last fall, two plays from the 2018 LAB RESULTS festival, The Abuelas by Stephanie Alison Walker and Eight Nights by Jennifer Maisel, were given critically acclaimed full productions as part of Antaeus' 2019-20 season.
