This December, Main Street Theater is bringing back the holiday favorites Miss Bennet and The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley via live, staged readings on Zoom.

Legendary Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist BILL CHAMPLIN has signed a record deal with Imagen Records.

Patton Daye Slater Productions announced today the virtual release party for the Love & Southern D!scomfort EP (LASD). On Saturday, November 28, 2020, at 8:00 pm, Brenda Braxton (Smokey Joe's Café) will host the release party that will include appearances by EP vocalists Nikki M. James and more.

Main Street has been offering the Pemberley plays - based on Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and written by acclaimed playwright Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon - for the last few seasons.

LA Opera announced today that it is postponing, reimagining or canceling all currently scheduled in-person programming for the remainder of the 2020/21 season due to concerns for artist and patron safety regarding COVID-19. Recent news regarding the development of vaccines has reinspired confidence in the company's ability to return to normal production for the 2021/22 season, which will be a combination of rescheduled and new programming. 

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts announces today that it will cancel all previously scheduled programs through April 25, 2021, due to the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Washington National Opera's spring productions and much of the late spring and early summer touring theater programs have been canceled.

The Barn Theatre in Cirencester, the Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield and the New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich have today announced that following overwhelming critical and public acclaim their digital co-production of Henry Filloux-Bennett's reimagining of Jonathan Coe's critically acclaimed satirical novel, What a Carve Up!, has been extended until 2 December.
