Due to critical acclaim and popular demand, Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) has announced a second extension of their presentation of the New York stage return of MILES FOR MARY, a new play created by The Mad Ones. The play is written by Marc Bovino, Joe Curnutte, Michael Dalto, Lila Neugebauer and Stephanie Wright Thompson; in collaboration with Sarah Lunnie and the creative ensemble of Amy Staats and Stacey Yen. Directed by Lila Neugebauer, this new limited engagement at Playwrights Horizons marks the production's Off-Broadway debut.

Merrimack Repertory Theatre (MRT) is proud to present the world premiere of Lost Laughs: The Slapstick Tragedy of Fatty Arbuckle, written by Andy Bayiates and Aaron Muñoz, directed by Nathan Keepers, with performances February 14 - March 11, 2018, at the Nancy L. Donahue Theatre located at 50 East Merrimack Street in historic downtown Lowell. The Bushwick Starr is collaborating with West Yorkshire Playhouse in presenting the world premiere of Animal Wisdom, a new music-theater piece by Obie Award-winning composer and performer Heather Christian (The TEAM's Mission Drift & The World is Round, BAM), in collaboration with acclaimed artist/performer Andrew Schneider (YOUARENOWHERE- 2015 OBIE award, 2016 Drama Desk nom.), director Mark Rosenblatt (Associate Artist, West Yorkshire Playhouse), and her genre-defying group, the Arbornauts. The show has just been extended through November 18.

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) continues its 2017-18 season with Bess Wohl's fresh, perceptive comedy Small Mouth Sounds (October 11­-December 10, 2017).

The Alliance Theatre is pleased to announce the Atlanta premiere of HAND TO GOD, the irreverent puppet comedy that was a 2015 Tony Award nominee for Best Play and the most produced play in American regional theater last season. Marc Masterson, Artistic Director of South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, California, directs this darkly delightful (The New York Times) production. HAND TO GOD explores the startlingly fragile nature of faith, morality, and the ties that bind us. Performances are October 20 November 12, 2017 at Dad's Garage while the Alliance Theatre undergoes a complete renovation. Opening night is Wednesday, October 25.
