This One’s For You: The Music of Barry Manilow Pops 40th Birthday Gala adds starry new cast members.

Lomis made waves with 2020’s In the Madness EP and a string of live dates supporting artists like The Brook & The Bluff, “Slow Motion” collaborator JoJo, Lawrence, and Lexi Jayde. She also earned support from Justin Bieber, Meghan Trainor, Shawn Mendes, Joe Jonas, Allen Stone, and more. Most recently, she just wrapped up a tour with Joshua Bassett.

GRAMMY Award-nominated, two-time Brit Award-winning, multi-platinum-selling singer/songwriter Lewis Capaldi shares his intensely personal new single “Wish You The Best” and its unforgettably moving video. Capaldi began by co-writing alongside songwriter JP Saxe (Julia Michaels, FLETCHER) and Malay (Lorde, Frank Ocean).

A vibrant and diverse cast of 14 LGBTQIA+ and Deaf performers will come together to perform Emma Frankland and Subira Joy's adaptation of John Lyly's early modern play Galatea at Brighton Festival, which was written in the 1580s and performed in front of Elizabeth I.

Next up in the 2022/2023 season at Syracuse Stage is the World Premiere of Tender Rain, written by Resident Playwright, Kyle Bass, and directed by longtime Syracuse University Department of Drama faculty member, Rodney Hudson, running May 3 -21, 2023.

The official music video for 11x Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and musician Brandy Clark’s new song, “Buried,” directed by Victoria Stevens. Clark, together with longtime collaborator Shane McAnally, composed the music for the new Broadway music comedy, Shucked, which is now showing at New York’s Nederlander Theatre.

The musical SIX gives these women the chance to tell their own stories, and shed some light on the circumstances of their lives and deaths.  Though the musical deals with heavy topics like infidelity, miscarriage, death by execution, etc., the six wives are generally pretty frank about their situations.  Dramatic history plus catchy songs equals a fantastically fun night of theatre; giving the lesser-known wives a chance to remind us that they were more than just a number.

The Drama League has launched its digital archive of the 2022-2023 International Directors Summit, which united eight world-class directors from around the globe for a series of conversations about the changing nature of their work.
