Coming off an extraordinary 2018, Rock n' Roll Hall of Famer Steve Miller is looking forward to his Spring 2019 tour. Beginning March 12 in Clearwater, FL at Ruth Eckerd Hall and culminating in Southaven, MS at Bank Plus Amphitheater at Snowden Grove on March 24, all performances will be an Evening with Steve Miller Band without any openers. Opera Orlando will hold its third annual gala celebration-Una Serenata Italiana! (An Italian Serenade!)-in honor of company founders Kathy and Steve Miller on the evening of Friday, April 20. The setting will be the award-winning Alfond Inn at Rollins College in Winter Park, and the evening will include opera performances from a quintet of nationally renowned soloists accompanied by pianist Robin Stamper, special tributes to the honorees, and a silent auction. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served at 6:30 p.m., followed by a formal dinner at 7:30 p.m. The Orlando Sentinel's "Taking Names" columnist, Scott Maxwell, will host the gala.

Steve Miller has confirmed the dates for the Steve Miller Band's 2018 North American summer tour. Last summer's sold-out tour with Peter Frampton has been extended for another 40 dates into 2018. A much-loved summer tradition, the iconic Steve Miller Band has been performing inspired versions of Miller's incomparable songbook to legions of fans across the globe for 50 years. This year, Miller aficionados will be regaled not only with powerful sets from both the SMB and Frampton's band, but also by the highlight of Miller bringing Frampton onstage midset to create some of the most compelling jamming of the season. The reissue of Fingerprints from legendary guitarist Peter Frampton is out today via his own imprint Phenix Phonograph. Originally released in 2006, Fingerprints won the 2007 Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album and Frampton's cover of Soundgarden's 'Black Hole Sun' off the album was also nominated for Best Rock Instrumental Performance. The album is also available on vinyl for the first time.
