Performed weekly in an elegant salon at the legendary Lotte New York Palace hotel, Chamber Magic features conjuring, mind-reading, sleight of hand, and an astonishing trick called Think-A-Drink. Cohen, the Millionaires' Magician, baffles his guests with magic up close as he recreates parlor entertainment that characterized Manhattan in the early 20th century.

The Composers Now Festival empowers living composers, celebrates the diversity of their voices, and honors the significance of their contributions to our society. On February 1, the eighth annual festival begins with a celebratory event at the DiMenna Center. Hosted by founder/artistic director Tania Leon, a diverse group of composer and performers including Muhal Richard Abrams, Edmar Castenada, Jessie Montgomery, Nkeiru Okoye, and Tyshawn Sorey will present and discuss recent works.

Sundance Institute screens several films in the out-of-competition Premieres and Documentary Premieres sections, as well as hosting the Special Events section and welcoming participants for two panels, at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, running today, January 22 to February 1 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. The Festival is the centerpiece of the year-round public programs for the Institute, which also hosts 24 residency labs and grants more than $2.5 million to independent artists each year.
