Coming off a historic 2013-14 seventh season, in which the company lead the Buffalo theater community with four Artie Awards for Theatrical Excellence and won its very first award for Best Musical Production, American Repertory Theater of WNY is proud to kick-off the 2014-15 season with a production of Michael John LaChiusa's HELLO AGAIN on September 11th and will run until October 4th. All performances will be at the ART in the Box, 16 Linwood Avenue, Buffalo NY 14219. Showtimes are 7:30 pm, Thursday through Saturday performances. American Repertory Theater of WNY continues an outstanding 2013-14 season with the production of Michael Gazzo's compelling story of Hope, Dope and Love entitled A HATFUL OF RAIN. This story of a military veteran struggles with morphine addiction and the fallout effects on his loved ones currently runs now to March 29th, Thursday-Saturday performances at 7:30 pm.

The American Repertory Theater of WNY kicks-off the seventh season with the punk-rock musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson at ART/WNY's new black-box space at 16 Linwood Avenue, Buffalo NY. Dubbed the season of 'ART Inside the Box', the company has moved from Bittner Hall into the basement of 16 Linwood location and has converted it into a black box theater performance space. ART/WNY decision to move from Bittner Hall into this space allows the company more flexibility with productions scheduled for the 2013-14 season as well as allows ART/WNY more of a permenent presences in the space. 'We can build, create and light environments without the overhanging pressure to tear it down and reset the whole thing, from platforms to light grid, for each production.' Added Executive/Artistic Director Matthew LaChiusa. 'That's going to add to the production values of each piece as well as make it more of a engaging experience for patrons.'
