HBO has announced that BD Wong, Denis O'Hare, Joel Grey and Stephen Spinella have joined the cast of Ryan Murphy's upcoming film adaptation of Larry Kramer's THE NORMAL HEART. The historic drama is scheduled to premiere on the cable network in 2014.

Berkshire Theatre Group presents James Goldman's The Lion in Winter at The Fitzpatrick Main Stage in Stockbridge opening on June 29 at 8pm. Previews begin tonight, June 25 at 8pm and closing is on July 13 at 8pm.

Manhattan Theatre Club has just announced a third and final extension for THE ASSEMBLED PARTIES, the new play by Tony Award winner Richard Greenberg, directed by MTC's award-winning artistic director Lynne Meadow. Tickets for this critically acclaimed engagement will be on sale through Sunday, July 28 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street) starting today at noon.

THE ASSEMBLED PARTIES star Judith Light, who yesterday won her second consecutive Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play, will be featured on tomorrow's edition of 'Live with Kelly & Michael.' Signature Theatre presents The Mound Builders written byLanford Wilson and directed by Jo Bonney. The production will now play through Sunday, April 14. The production opened last night, March 17 in The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Fasten your seat belt for 'a roaring ride that will take you up, up and away.' Previews begin on Thursday, March 21 at 8:00 p.m.; with the official opening on Saturday, March 23 at 8:00 p.m. and running through May 5, 2013.

The Public Theater began previews for the world premiere of DETROIT '67, a Public Lab production by Dominique Morisseau, on Tuesday, February 26. Directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah, DETROIT '67 will run through Sunday, March 17 and opened last night in The Public's Shiva Theater. Additionally, the English language premiere of NEVA, written and directed by Guillermo Calderon, opened last night.
