The HBO Films presentation THE NORMAL HEART is scheduled to debut SUNDAY, MAY 25 at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on HBO.

Geva Theatre Center's 2014 Fielding Studio Series continues with Stranded on Earth by Eric Coble and directed by William Brown. The production begins performances on March 6 and runs in the Fielding Nextstage through March 23.

CSC revives the abstract anti-war farce penned by a 28-year-old making his first dive into Berlin's post-war artistic renaissance.

Classic Stage Company presents A MAN'S A MAN, directed by Brian Kulick and featuring a new score and new songs by Tony Award-winning composer Duncan Sheik. This production continues CSC's exploration of the works of Bertolt Brecht, which began in 2011 with the sold-out production of Galileo and was followed by last season's The Caucasian Chalk Circle (on which Kulick and Sheik also collaborated). The cast features Justin VivIan Bond(Widow Begbick) are Jason Babinsky (Polly Baker), Gibson Frazier (Galy Gay), Martin Moran (Uriah Shelley), Steven Skybell (Jesse Mahoney), Stephen Spinella (Bloody Five), Ching Valdes-Aran (Mr. Wang) and Allan K. Washington (Ensemble). The official opening night is Thursday, January 30. A MAN'S A MAN will play a limited engagement through February 16. This evening's performance of Classic Stage Company's production of Bertolt Brecht's A MAN'S A MAN has been cancelled due to an injury last night to cast member Bill Buell (Jeraiah Jip). Buell sustained a fractured ankle while off-stage early in the first act due to a mechanical malfunction involving a ballast weight for a garage door which is part of the show's set design. As there is no understudy for the role, the remainder of last evening's performance had to be cancelled as well as tonight's performance while a replacement actor is found. CSC hopes to resume performances tomorrow.

Red Bull Theater presents the Off Broadway revival of Loot by Joe Orton. Red Bull Artistic Director Jesse Berger directs a company that includes Rebecca Brooksher (Fay), Eric Martin Brown (Meadows), Jarlath Conroy (McLeavy), Ryan Garbayo (Dennis), Rocco Sisto (Truscott), and Nick Westrate (Hal). Loot has scenic design by Narelle Sissons, costume design by Sara Jean Tosetti, lighting design by Scott Zielinski, and sound design by Brad Berridge. Opening Thursday January 16th, this limited engagement continues through February 9th only at Lucille Lortel Theater (121 Christopher Street).

HBO announced yesterday that they will debut an array of diverse, timely and thought-provoking documentary films in the coming months including LARRY KRAMER (working title) this May.

At a panel discussion yesterday for HBO's highly anticiapted drama, THE NORMAL HEART, producer Ryan Murphy shared that he has added a considerable amount of new material to Larry Kramer's Tony-award winning play.

A first listen to the score composed by Tony Award-winning SPRING AWAKENING composer Duncan Sheik for the new Off-Broadway adaptation of Bertolt Brecht's seminal A MAN'S A MAN is now available to peruse.

As previously announced, Red Bull Theater will present two RUSSIAN READINGS by Vladimir Nabokov and Alexander Ostrovsky this winter. The first took place last week on December 9 and the second is set for tonight, December 16 as part of its OBIE Award-winning Revelation Readings Series. The cast of tonight's reading includes Jonathan Groff, Tovah Feldshuh, Stephen Spinella, and more.
