Broadway veterans James Moye and Victor Hawks will team with Tony nominee Annaleigh Ashford (Kinky Boots) and other top Broadway performers at the annual New Year's Eve extravaganza at Tony's DiNapoli at Times Square tonight.

Producers have tapped 'Call Me Maybe' singer Carly Rae Jepsen to replace Tony nominee Laura Osnes in Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, currently playing on Broadway. Jepsen will step into the role on Feb. 4 for a limited 12-week run.

Yesterday's shots include the final SIP from the re-imagined production of SIDE SHOW, which closes at La Jolla Playhouse today before heading to the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. for a limited engagement in the spring. The producers of Cinderella announced today that television and film star Fran Drescher will make her Broadway debut as Cinderella's stepmother Madame, beginning performances on February 4th for a 10-week run through April 13 at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Ms. Drescher takes over the role created by Harriet Harris, who concludes her acclaimed year-long run in the musical to return to her home in California.

The 2013 theatre season brought some truly extraordinary productions, including Cinderella, which is still playing at the Broadway Theatre. The musical earned 9 Tony nominations, taking home an awardfor costume design.

Cinderella welcomed its first same sex proposal last night, September 4, directly following the 7:30pm show. The couple, Jason Aronne and Kunal Ghose, lives in San Diego and have been together for two years. Ghose said: 'Growing up in India you don't hear many western stories but you do read Cinderella and it left a lasting impression of finding 'happily ever after' on me. The producers of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA have announced that three-time Tony Award nominee Rebecca Luker will join the cast on Broadway as Cinderella's Fairy Godmother, Marie, starting September 6 through January 19, 2014. Ms. Luker takes over the role from Victoria Clark, who will leave CINDERELLA temporarily for a new project (to be announced), returning to the musical on January 21.

A new web series, Dates, Mates & Clean Slates, features Julie Kotarides (A Chorus Line, Surf!) and Stephanie Gibson (Spamalot, The Addams Family, and the upcoming R+H's Cinderella).. Ghostlight Records announces that the Original Broadway Cast Recording of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S Cinderella CD hits stores today, June 4.

CINDERELLA -- the Rodgers + Hammerstein musical now at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway) -- played its 100th performance on Wednesday evening, May 29. The cast celebrated with a cake from Carlo's Bakery, home of TV's 'Cake Boss.' The musical began previews on January 25 and had its official opening night on March 3. Written for CBS-TV in 1957, this production of Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA marks the musical's first-eve Broadway production, now in its 5th month of performances. The Friday, May 31st broadcast of WNBC-TV/Channel 4's program 'New York Live' seen weekdays at 12:30 p.m. will feature a backstage interview with CINDERELLA stars Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana.
