The Royal Court hosts something different from their usual line up with this musical  theatre/cabaret/concert hybrid titled The Song Project, led by celebrated Dutch singer  Wende.

The series features more than 100 artists, commentators and thought leaders, with 23 commissions, performances from some of the UK’s most exciting names in contemporary arts and entertainment, and testimonies from the public.

Three distinct doorways separate three different time periods. Between them stands three Nora's, played superbly by Natalie Klamar, Amaka Okafor, and Anna Russell-Martin. The eras they occupy are a post-war 1948, a vibing 1968 and a more contemporary 2018. The women are subject to political, personal and societal suffocation.
