Normal Ave and Leigh Honigman will present the World Premiere of Of the Woman Came the Beginning of Sin and Through Her We All Die, written by Lily Houghton and directed by Kylie M. Brown at the Medicine Show Theatre (549 W 52nd St, 3rd Floor New York, NY 10019), October 3-20. Tickets ($20-$30) will go on sale September 1. The performance will run approximately 90 minutes, with no intermission.

Project Y Theatre Company will present the World Premiere of Amina Henry's Sleeping Beauty, a new female-forward version of the children's classic, directed by Michole Biancosino as part of the fourth annual Women in Theatre Festival, June 22-30 at the Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre at the A.R.T./New York Theatres (502 West 53rd Street New York, NY 10019). Performances will be on Saturday, June 22 at 12pm, Saturday, June 22 at 3pm, Sunday, June 23 at 12pm, Sunday, June 23 at 3pm, Saturday, June 29 at 12pm, Saturday, June 29 at 3pm, and Sunday, June 30 at 12pm. Normal Ave finishes its successful 2018-19 season with Sons of the Prophet by Stephen Karam, directed by Shannon Molly Flynn. The show runs April 25-May 5 at Normal Ave's Medicine Show Theatre at 549 West 52nd Street in Manhattan.

The production will be directed by Kara-Lynn Vaeni (AliceGraceAnon with New Georges) and feature Daniel Cuff, Tom Kelsey, Starr Kirkland, Annelise Nielsen, Julia Piker, Peter Staley, Zachary J. Smith, and Linda Tardif. The creative team will include Set and Lighting Design by Nick Francone (Vampire Cowboys) with assistance from Rachel Schapira, and Costume Design by Ethan Berube. The production is presented with support from New Georges.
