The Cathedral of St. John the Divine welcomes back David Briggs, organ virtuoso and Artist in Residence, to the 2019-2020 season of Great Music in a Great Space with a recital of works by Brahms, Debussy, and Elgar on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 7:30 pm at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, 1047 Amsterdam Avenue (at 112th Street). Ticketholders are invited to a pre-concert talk by Briggs at 6:30 pm.

Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra (CCCO), the region's newest professional orchestra, presents a holiday season benefit concert A Mostly English Holiday, on Sunday, December 15, 3 pm, at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 533 Main Street, Rt. 28, Harwich Port. Proceeds from the performance benefit in part the Alzheimer's Family Support Center of Cape Cod. A pre-concert talk by Conductor Matthew Scinto will be held at 2:15 pm.

On Saturday, October 26 at 8 pm and Sunday, October 27 at 4 pm, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) celebrates 100 years of Sir Edward Elgar's beloved Cello Concerto in E Minor, Op. 85 with a performance featuring soloist Pablo Ferrández. Mr. Ferrández caused a sensation this summer when he performed at the Hollywood Bowl to critical acclaim with Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Also on the program of late romantic works are Jean Sibelius' The Swan of Tuonela and Johannes Brahms' Symphony No. 3 in F Major, Op. 90. Edward T. Cone Music Director Rossen Milanov conducts. Both concerts are at historic Richardson Auditorium, in Alexander Hall on the campus of Princeton University.
