Following a sell-out run at the Royal Court Theatre, NATIONAL THEATRE LIVE will broadcast the acclaimed West End transfer of Hangmen by Olivier and Academy Award winner Martin McDonagh (The Pillowman, The Cripple of Inishmaan, In Bruges), with a cast including David Morrissey, Andy Nyman and Johnny Flynn, live from London's Wyndham's Theatre to cinemas internationally on Thursday, March 3, 2016 (dates vary internationally). The news comes as the production is announced the winner of the Critic's Circle 'Best New Play' and 'Best Design' Awards today. Irish writer and director Martin McDonagh is well known for his black comedies and Hangmen, his first play in 10 years, proves that he has definitely not lost his touch. Transferring to the West End from the Royal Court where it had a sell-out run in the summer, the play is set in 1965 on the day that hanging is abolished in the UK.

HANGMEN, which recently finished its run at the Royal Court Theatre's Jerwood Theatre Downstairs, transfers to the West End's Wyndham's Theatre tonight 1 December 2015. David Morrissey, in the lead role of 'Harry', will travel with the production.

Full casting has today been announced for the West End run of the Royal Court Theatre's production of Hangmen. ProducersRobert Fox, Matthew Byam Shaw for Playful Productions and Royal Court Theatre Productions are delighted to announce that Andy Nyman will play Syd, Craig Parkinson will take on the role of Inspector Fry and Tony Hirst will play Bill, completing the cast of the West End production. According to the Daily Mail, Andy Nyman (ASSASSINS, ABIGAIL'S PARTY, GHOST STORIES) and Craig Parkinson (in several shows at Open Air Theatre, MARTIN GUERRE) will take over the roles of 'Syd' and 'Inspector Fry' when Martin McDonagh's HANGMEN transfers to the West End this winter.

The Daily Mail writes that THE BODYGUARD's Debbie Kurup will star as 'Reno Sweeney' in ANYTHING GOES at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre this holiday season, running November 28, 2014, through January 17, 2015, before kicking off the show's UK and Ireland tour for the rest of 2015. Also in the cast at the Crucible are Matt Rawle, Zoe Rainey, Stephen Matthews, Simon Rouse and Hugh Sachs.

Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres Daniel Evans and Stage Entertainment today announce the full cast for Evans' production of Anything Goes for the run at the Crucible and the start of the UK and Ireland tour.
