The Daily Mail writes that THE BODYGUARD's Debbie Kurup will star as 'Reno Sweeney' in ANYTHING GOES at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre this holiday season, running November 28, 2014, through January 17, 2015, before kicking off the show's UK and Ireland tour for the rest of 2015. Also in the cast at the Crucible are Matt Rawle, Zoe Rainey, Stephen Matthews, Simon Rouse and Hugh Sachs.

According to the Daily Mail, Simon Beaufoy's new stage adaptation of The Full Monty is heading to the West End following its national tour, which began at the Lyceum in Sheffield this February. Previews will begin at the Noel Coward Theatre on February 15, 2014.

Artistic Director Daniel Evans today unveils Sheffield Theatres' spring season for 2013, which includes two world premieres - Bull, a new play by Mike Bartlett, and This Is My Family, a new musical comedy by Tim Firth; major revivals of D.H. Lawrence's masterpiece The Daughter-in-Law and Alan Bennett's The History Boys, and Sheffield People's Theatre present their second production, 20 Tiny Plays about Sheffield. Full casting for My Fair Lady, the Crucible Christmas musical is also announced today.

The production, which examines the British Army's handling of detainees in Iraq and the death of Baha Mousa in 2003, will run at the Tricycle Theatre from 2 June until 2 July, with press night on 6 June 2011. Designs are by Polly Sullivan, with lighting by Charlie Hayday and sound and projections by Ed Borgnis.
