Garry Marshall Theatre's Board of Directors is proud to announce that Kurt J. Swanson has joined the new nonprofit's leadership team as Managing Director.  

After its 2017 transition to nonprofit status and the launching of its Inaugural Season, the Board of Directors announces the departure of Sherry Greczmiel as Executive Director of the Garry Marshall Theatre. This follows her 15-year history with Marshall's commercial venture - as a producer for the former Falcon Theatre.

The Board of Directors of the new nonprofit Garry Marshall Theatre will host the First Annual Founder's Gala with the multi-talented John Stamos as Master of Ceremonies. The Gala will forever be held on November 13th - Garry's birthday and lucky number.

Bwarie and Toscas will shepherd the Garry Marshall Theatre into its inaugural season, bringing a bold artistic vision and a focus on community engagement.

Ovation Award-winners and Troubadour Theater Company favorites Rick Batalla, Lisa Valenzuela and Beth Kennedy reunite with long-time 'Troubie' Joseph Leo Bwarie in Little Drummer Bowie after his Broadway run as Frankie Valli in the Tony Award-winning musical Jersey Boys. The Troubadour Theater Company's Little Drummer Bowie was first presented at the Falcon in 2005, and with the fairly recent passing of iconic musician David Bowie, it seems the perfect time to bring it back. For many Bowie and rock are synonymous, just as director/founder Garry Marshall and the Falcon have been synonymous. Both Marshall and Bowie passed away in 2016. They brought music, love and laughter to the world through the arts, so The Troubadour Theater Company is paying tribute to both men with the revival of this production.

Falcon Theatre will present A Carlin Home Companion, written by and starring Kelly Carlin, directed by Paul Provenza, the fourth production of the Falcon Theatre's 2014-2015 Subscription Season.

Falcon Theatre will present Impro Theatre's The Western UnScripted, co-directed by Dan O'Connor and Stephen Kearin, the first production of the Falcon Theatre's 2014-2015 Subscription Season. Impro Theatre's critically acclaimed, award-winning ensemble of improvisers, which the LA Times calls "an amazing comedy troupe that spins comedy gold right before your eyes," create completely new, completely unscripted, and completely hilarious full-length plays at every performance. According to StageandCinema.com, an Impro performance is "as high a degree of general excellence in writing, acting, and direction as I have seen in any theater company in America."

Falcon Theatre Founder, Garry Marshall, is thrilled to announce the Falcon Theatre's 2014-2015 5-Play Subscription Season. Falcon Theatre's 13th subscription season brings five compelling productions to Burbank, including two premiere shows, a performance by George Carlin's daughter Kelly Carlin, and collaborations with the award-winning companies Impro Theatre and Troubadour Theater Company. For the 2014-2015 season, the Falcon has also partnered with the Daily Grill restaurants to give subscribers an added benefit of a discounted local dining experience.
