Broadway Records today announced that Michael Mott's ABANDONED HEART will be released digitally and in stores on Friday, September 15, 2017.

Christiane Noll (Ragtime, Chaplin) and Mariand Torres (Wicked, In Transit) will be the featured vocalists in the next installment of 'Russ Kaplan's Broadway Jazz Session,' the new monthly series which presents In Transit composer Kaplan's innovative jazz interpretations of current Broadway favorites.

Hosted by Songwriter Hall of Fame's Holly Knight ('Simply The Best,' 'Love Is A Battlefield,' 'Invincible'),  Schirmer Theatrical and Greenberg Artists present 'Women Rock' at The Cutting Room on May 22nd, celebrating the great female singers and songwriters who changed the face of rock n' roll. A portion of the proceeds from 'Women Rock' will be donated to the Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls.

Russ Kaplan, a creator of the Broadway musical In Transit and leader of the eponymous jazz band Russ Kaplan + 7, will be appearing with his band in 'Russ Kaplan's Broadway Jazz Session,' along with guest vocalists Justin Guarini, Shayna Steele, and beatboxer Chesney Snow. The concert will be held at The Green Room 42 [570 10th Ave, New York, NY 10036] on Sunday, April 30 at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $20 and available at https://web.ovationtix.com/trs/pe.c/10157817. Concert for America: Stand Up, Sing Out! brought together artists from Broadway, TV and beyond to spread a message of unity and hope yesterday afternoon at Town Hall. Just last night, producers Morgan James, Richard Amelius and Torya Beard presented a female-centered concert of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, directed by Richard Amelius (Time Between Us, Empty City), with musical direction by Julie McBride (Amazing Grace, Finding Neverland).
