The 70th anniversary celebration Spring for Abilis is scheduled for Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 6:30 p.m., and will feature a virtual gala packed with comedy, entertainment, singing, dancing and the Abilis' Giving Garden and live auction appeal - plus so much more!

Skylight Theatre Company begins its 2021 season of Skylight LIVE April 24, 2021; with Robin Gerber’s THE SHOT starring the incomparable Sharon Lawrence. This behind-the-scenes story of The Washington Post publisher Katherine Graham is directed by Michelle Joyner and produced by SPARKS Theatricals. Sharon managed to squeeze some time for my queries between filming Rebel and her many social justice commitments.

As part of a rolling world premiere, Forward Theater Company will present its final production in the 2020-21 season, 46 Plays for America’s First Ladies, by Chloe Johnston, Sharon Greene, Genevra Gallo-Bayiates, Bilal Dardai, and Andy Bayiates. The filmed version of the experience will be streaming online May 8th - 23rd.

Additional cast members added today include Sharon Lawrence, Julianna Guill, Mustafa Speaks and Paul Sparks.

The 71st Annual ACE Eddie Awards presented by American Cinema Editors (ACE) today announced winners LIVE during a virtual awards ceremony recognizing outstanding editing in 14 categories of film, television and documentaries.

This project is a continuation of an ongoing exploration and consistent practice of both artists. Their digital premiere will explore making visible and audible the space between form and no-form, sound and no-sound, material and immaterial.

GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS is going down under with the announcement that the label will present their first-ever Australian cast album. FANGIRLS: World Premiere Cast Recording – based on the award-winning Australian stage musical – will be released in digital and streaming formats on Friday, April 30.

From 13th to 16th May, Glen Street Theatre will welcome ABC Broadcaster, Author and Playwright Melanie Tait's funny, honest and heart-warming play The Appleton Ladies' Potato Race to the Northern Beaches for the first time.

Sharon Peake, Chair of the GCTC Board of Directors, announced today that artistic director, Eric Coates, is stepping aside after nine seasons with the company. He will leave the position at the end of May, 2021. 

The EP features five cover songs, one per decade from the 1950s-1990s. Mara already shared the EP's 1950s cut, a Twin Peaks-inspired cover of 'Ain't That a Shame,' back in February on Fats Domino's birthday (which Flood Magazine called “brilliant” and praised for its dark twist on the original).
