Dirt Dogs Theatre Co. Presents THE DEAD EYE BOY

The second installment of Dirt Dogs Theatre Co.'s fourth season is the regional premiere of Angus MacLachlan's The Dead Eye Boy. A gripping story that explores how sex, violence, and affection can all be confused for love, The Dead Eye Boy was the recipient of the 2000 Rosenthal New Play Prize, premiering at the Cincinnati Playhouse before making an Off-Broadway run. In the riveting drama, Shirley-Diane sees her teenage son, Soren, as a painful reminder of her past. Her ex-con boyfriend, Billy, sees Soren as a reflection of his own childhood. As Billy tries to friend the troubled boy, the dysfunction of hard-core addiction and manipulation blur the lines of control and love between the three .

New West Symphony Remembers the Holocaust with Two-Part Concert Series

The New West Symphony will present Duet of Remembrance commemorating the Holocaust and the 75th anniversary of the liberation of concentration camps with a two-part dedicated concert series featuring Dreams on February 29 - March 1 and Violins of Hope on April 18 - 19. These remarkable programs mark the continuation of a year-long 25th anniversary season for the New West Symphony and inaugural season under new music director GRAMMY® winner Maestro Michael Christie.

ALBERTA THEATRE PROJECTS Presents Their 2020-21 Season

Alberta Theatre Projects has announced their 49th season line-up, which will run from September 2020 to May 2021. The season will feature a made-in-Calgary world premiere, a ground-breaking Shakespeare adaptation, two hit Canadian plays, a high-flying family adventure, and a gritty, immersive music theatre masterpiece, and four different seating configurations.

MATILDA THE MUSICAL Extends One More Week in Manila

Bill Kenwright's 'Dazzling' (Sunday Telegraph) production of the international smash hit musical Blood Brothers continues into Spring 2020 from 4 February 2020 at Theatre Royal, Brighton. Match: Lit Presents Shakespeare's AS YOU LIKE IT

This February, rising indie Shakespeare company Match: Lit brings to its audience one of William Shakespeare's best-loved comedies in As You Like It. The production is directed by Laurel Andersen (Barefoot Shakespeare, Occupy Verona, Turn To Flesh Productions) and is produced by Match: Lit's Executive Artistic Director, Kristin Sgarro, who also serves as the production's composer and musical director. The production will open Thursday, February 13 and close Sunday, February 23.
