Barbican Theatre: What You Need To Know

Chamberlin, Powell & Bon's brutalist design is an instantly recognisable part of London's architecture; the grade II listed building formed the inspiration for the film adaptation of JG Ballard's novel High-Rise. Formerly the home of the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Barbican Theatre was also the original London home of long-running musical Les Misérables before its transfer to the West End.

Marc Antolin and Carly Bawden reprise their lead roles as Jean-René and Angélique in the U.S. premiere of playwright/director Emma Rice's ROMANTICS ANONYMOUS beginning at The Wallis March 17, 2020 for a thirteen-day run. THE NIGHT BUSTER KEATON DREAMED ME to Have West Coast Premiere at 24th Street Theatre

24th Street Theatre finds color in the lives of two orphan girls living in a silent film world of black, white and varying shades of gray. Debbie Devine directs the West Coast premiere of Kerry Muir's magical, surreal, dream-like movie-within-a play, The Night Buster Keaton Dreamed Me, for an April 11 opening. Performances will continue through May 31, with low-priced previews taking place March 28 through April 5.

Syracuse Stage's 48th Season to Present its Third World Premiere

Two Tony Award-winning musicals, an American classic, a smart new comedy, a haunting new adaptation of a literary masterpiece and a world premiere are at the heart of Syracuse Stage's 48th season. Artistic director Robert Hupp said the shows in the season all in some way address ideas of home 'in all its idealized, romanticized, messy and real manifestations.'
