Elm Shakespeare Company recently announced the launch of online summer camps, for youth ages 7-12 and 13-18.

The Royal Shakespeare Company production of Romeo and Juliet (2019) will be broadcast on BBC Four at 9pm on Sunday 7 June as part of Culture in Quarantine, it was announced today.

Marin Shakespeare Company's Returned Citizens Theatre Troupe will present a live Zoom performance of Stories from the Deep, a collection of solo theatre pieces exploring true-life stories about transforming oppression, addiction, bullying, lockdowns, coronavirus, and more into opportunities for growth and healing.

Director, producer and Cornell University alumnus ('93) David Winitsky has been named the new Interim Producing Artistic Director of Ithaca's Kitchen Theatre Company. David's appointment was unanimously approved by the Kitchen Theatre Company's Board of Directors. He succeeds M. Bevin O'Gara, the theatre's Producing Artistic Director since 2017.

Chesapeake Shakespeare Company announces online summer camps and classes, YouTube programming, and the cancellation of Much Ado About Nothing, originally scheduled for this summer at PFI Historic Park in Ellicott City.

The Royal Shakespeare Company today released Sonnets in Solitude, a selection of Shakespeare's sonnets self-recorded by RSC actors while in lockdown. Many of the actors were working with the RSC at the time of the theatre's temporary closure on 17 March and have been unable to perform or rehearse since.
