Centenary Stage Company's production of Meteor Shower by Steve Martin opened this past weekend, and audiences are raving. Performances will run through March 6 in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center at 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown, NJ on the campus of Centenary University.

J.L. “Lynn” Singleton, President and CEO of the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) has announced that PPAC has received the 2020 Olivier Award for Best New Musical for Dear Evan Hansen. The 2020 Olivier Award winners were announced during an awards ceremony on October 25, 2020; PPAC received the physical Olivier Award this past week. 

PlayMakers Repertory Company presents the regional premiere of “Yoga Play,” a comedy by Dipika Guha that asks the question, what is the personal cost of enlightenment and  identity, in a world that commodifies both? The production runs from February 23 to March 13, 2022 and is directed by Pirronne Yousefzadeh in her Paul Green Theatre stage directorial debut.

The Broadway League has agreed to voluntary recognition of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society as the collective bargaining representative of Associate/Resident directors and choreographers working on Broadway productions and tours.

The Broadway League has announced 20 participating shows for the spring 2022 season of Broadway Bridges. Broadway Bridges is The Broadway League’s initiative with the goal to give every New York City public high school student the chance to experience a Broadway show before graduation.
