Monday, June 17, 2024 will be the American Popular Song Society 3rd Annual Gala Benefit. It will honor the award winning Richard Maltby, Jr.  and David Shire with a Lifetime Achievement Award at The Cutting Room.

On Tuesday May 14th at 5:30 pm, singer Ann Kittredge celebrated the release of her latest CD, Romantic Notions, with a show at Birdland. See highlights from the night snapped by photographer Conor Weiss.

Lianne Marie Dobbs is bringing a new show celebrating neurodiversity by way of some Dusty Springfield tunes to the Green Room 42. THE WINDMILLS OF MY MIND... FOR DUSTY SPRINGFIELD plays on Saturday February 17th at 9:30 pm at the Green Room 42. I spoke to Dobbs about the upcoming show and the way she's embraced her ADHD.

Lucille Carr-Kaffashan is bringing two shows back to Don't Tell Mama with a cabaret honoring strong female songwriters of the 70's on February 17th and the 21st century on March 16th, both at 4 pm. We talked about both shows and what's coming up next for her this year.

The Daniel Glass Trio: Daniel Glass (drums), Sean Harkness (guitar), Michael O'Brien (bass) brought their show featuring a tribute to the American tradition of tap dance, songbook standards, and swing to the Birdland Theater in NYC. Guest performers included Broadway & Film singer/dancer Luke Hawkins and Nightclub & Concert singer Eddie Wakes.
