CBS News won three Edward. R. Murrow Awards for excellence in radio and television journalism. The winners were announced today by the Radio-Television & Digital News Association, which will present the awards at a gala on Oct. 10 in New York City.

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY posted the largest year-to-year increases in adults 25-54 (+17%, 1.4/06 from 1.2/05) and viewers (+5%, 7.06m from 6.74m) among the network evening news broadcasts, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending March 25.
