CBS EVENING NEWS Continues to Show Year-to-Year Growth in Viewers

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY continues to show year-to-year growth in viewers (+3%, 6.68m from 6.50m) and in the key demographic of adults 25-54 (+8%, 1.3/06 from 1.2/06), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending May 6. The CBS broadcast added +180,000 viewers compared to last year.
Additionally, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY posted the largest season-to-date gain in viewers (+2%, 7.41m from 7.26m) among the network evening news broadcasts, according to Nielsen most current ratings.
