The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY is up year-to-year in adults 25-54 (+8%, 1.3/06 from 1.2/05), the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, as well as viewers (+6%, 6.99m from 6.58m), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending April 1, 2016.
The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY gained +410,000 viewers compared to the same week last year. Season-to-date, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY posted the largest percentage gain among the network evening news broadcasts in viewers (+2%, 7.53m from 7.36m) and maintained its rating on adults 25-54 (1.5/06) compared to last season.
