CrushRoom theatre company will return to the stage with two scratch night presentations of the new gig theatre After The Flood.

SCUM, a new play by Sarah Shear, will have its world premiere production this summer, directed by Javan Nelson. Following a sold out public reading in NYC and a successful crowdfunding campaign that surpassed its goal, Scum will run August 9-18 at The Producer's Club in Midtown, NY.

The Campy Cabaret and Tony Patryn present a night of Beatles music from the movie Across the Universe. In this almost two hour showcase, a jam-packed cast of stage and screen veterans will be singing such hits as 'I Want to Hold Your Hand,' 'If I Fell,' 'Hey Jude,' 'Let it Be,' and more!

The Fledgling Theatre Company will present its production of Nicky Silver's THE ALTRUISTS this spring when it seems to have as much, if not more, relevance than it did when it premiered in 2000.

Director Matthew Watson presents an unabridged production of Miller's classic, with strong performers and supporting tech.

The original 1960's inspired sci-fi musical WILD WOMEN OF PLANET WONGO gets an immersive, dance-party infused production beginning June 11. This theatrical extravaganza will transform the bar and gallery space of Bushwick's Brooklyn Fireproof into Planet Wongo where audience members can dance, interact with sexy alien beings and be part of the show. Wongo is based on a concept by Ben Budick with music by Dave Ogrin, lyrics by Ben Budick, Steve Mackes and Dave Ogrin and a book by Steve Mackes. David Rigano directs. Performances begin June 11.

Improv Soup, the Un-Common Theatre Co.'s improvisational comedy troupe, is made up of teenagers from all over southeastern Massachusetts. Improv Soup was started in 1998 by Christa Crewdson, who remains the Soup director to this very day.
