After selling out its initial run, I'LL SAY SHE IS, the legendary musical comedy that was the Broadway debut of the Marx Brothers, will extend its historic revival at The Connelly Theater through July 3.

I'LL SAY SHE IS, the legendary musical comedy that was the Broadway debut of the Marx Brothers, originally opened 92 years ago today -- on May 19, 1924 at the 875-seat Casino Theatre on Broadway at 39th Street. It played for 313 performances before being lost to history. Thanks to Grouch Marx enthusiast Noah Diamond, I'LL SAY SHE IS will return to the stage in a historic new production at The Connelly Theater beginning previews May 28.

Gallery Players opens its 49th season with the rock opera, Godspell, conceived and originally directed by John-Michael Tebelak, music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz.

Boomerang Theatre Company will present, after a successful sold-out workshop production, the return of Lickspittles, Buttonholers, and Damned Pernicious Go-Betweens by award-winning playwright Johnna Adams, directed by John Hurley. Dead End Dummy, a new work by Dick D. Zigun, will premiere at Sideshows By The Seashore in Coney Island today, October 10 and run through November 2, 2014. The show then opens at La Mama in Manhattan on November 7, running through November 16.

Performances begin Thursday, February 6 and continue through Sunday, February 23, 2014.

In this humorous allegory for the AIDS crisis in the 1980s, Anna, an unmarried schoolteacher, is diagnosed with ATD (Acquired Toilet Disease). It's fatal and mysterious, so she and her brother Carl take off for a dream tour of Europe before the inevitable happens. As Anna drowns herself in the sensuality of food and sex, Carl becomes involved in a wild Third Mannish espionage scheme to find a cure for his sister. But the cracks in the story start to widen and soon the audience becomes aware that they are engaged in Anna's fantasy attempt at keeping her brother's spirit alive when she cannot save his life.
