Based on true events, GREENCARD WEDDING is a new play that is part live rock concert, part interactive video Skype Call. Joy, (an American) and Connel (an Irishman) meet by chance and form a band Greencard Wedding. When Connel's visa runs out, the duo discovers their band can't write harmony via Skype. But perhaps, they can get an artist visa or find a way to create their own.

A bittersweet love story full of rockin' music, about the politics of visa regulations, how we define ourselves as artists, who is allowed to claim they have the right to be heard & who can afford to be. Wedding cake served to all audience members.

Greencard Wedding has been presented and developed at the prestigious interactive film festival Filmgate Miami, Carrie Morris Performing Art Center (Detorit MI, winner best actor in Detroit Fringe), The Brick Theater and Fringe NYC.

Starring: Jody Christopherson* (The Reenactors) Ryan McCurdy* (ONCE), Morgan Zipf-Meister (It's Getting Tired Mildred) and David Anzuelo* (INTIMACY). Video and Sound Design by Martha Goode (DICKENS, Ballerina Swan), with additional videos by Natalie Johnsonius Neubert (Necessary Exposure The Female Playwright Project), Lighting Design by Morgan Zifp-Meister (The Temple), Stage Managed by Sarah Lahue (The Temple)
